It has always been a struggle for any music artist from Hawaii to spread their music to the masses because of travel constraints due to the location of the islands. It’s an even harder struggle for a Hawaii Hip Hop artist because people do not associate Hawaii with Hip Hop music. This tour will help educate hip hop audiences out of the islands of the growing and emerging Hip Hop scene here in Hawaii and of its’ talent. Traveling through 3 states in 2 weeks requires numerous costs; thus The City Limits and Super Groupers have created an IndieGoGo fundraising site to help defer some of the costs of lodging.
The main sponsor of “The Golden Era District Tour” is Farmers Market Hawaii, which is a Hawaii-based clothing brand that has been able to gain popularity far beyond the boarders of the islands. Famers Market Hawaii prides itself in being able to create a product that combines both the traditions and folklore of the ancient Hawaiians with modern day streetwear and culture. The partnership between this clothing brand and tour exemplifies the push of reaching the masses beyond our island state and to show the rest of the world that Hawaii has more to offer than beautiful weather and beaches.
The City Limits is a local live band that specializes in organic hip hop and R&B music. The City Limits band members include Hawaiʻi-based MC, Creed Chameleon, on lead vocals, Jay Drums on drums, Ty Donovan on guitar, Render on bass, Ely Macadangdang on the keyboard, and DJ Doughmzz on the turntables.

His perseverance has allowed him to open for acts such as Tech N9ne, Wu Tang Clan, Atmosphere, Talib Kweli, Dilated Peoples and much more. Creed Chameleon has released a total of 5 albums and is currently working on The City Limits first project titled,
